Oh by the way, cycling news has the wrong team lists up!
I may have screwed myself over, i though it was only a 3 day race, but its 6 stages
Haha! I didn't even look at the profiles, but according to Cycling News there's a 145k time trial on the last stage... Hopefully blind luck will kick in and I'll do ok, figured with Euskatel being based in the Basque Country the route would be pretty hilly
EDIT: Dissapointingly it's only an 18.9km ITT, not 145km That would have been a laugh, a four hour long TT would really shake things up.
I think it is pretty hilly, and Livestrongnick I know theres is wrong, been using the one on the offical site and cycling fever which are both correct.
That would have been interesting!
I think haussler has not started, for whoeevr put them in there team
Also there is a break of 2 or 3
Oh well, I knew he was a risk.
The riders in the break are De la Fuente and Mucelli
Rojas takes the bunch sprint from Poels and Wegmann, followed by Ratto, Vichot, Hesjedal, Meersman, Izagirre. Luke Rowe around 12th I think.
Yep Luke Rowe 12th, gutted with team selection, if i had kept moreno rather than change to hoogerland, i would have had vichot
1. ROJAS GIL Jose Joaquin MOV
2. POELS Wouter VCD
3. WEGMANN Fabian GRM
4. RATTO Daniele LIQ
5. VICHOT Arthur FDJ
6. HESJEDAL Ryder GRM
7. MEERSMAN Gianni LTB
8. IZAGUIRRE INSAUSTI Gorka
9. GAVAZZI Francesco AST
10. BAILETTI Paolo UNA
11. IMPEY Daryl GEC
12. ROWE Luke SKY
13. VICIOSO ARCOS Angel KAT
14. VELITS Peter OPQ
15. SANTAMBROGIO Mauro BMC
16. VAN DEN BROECK Jurgen LTB
17. SANCHEZ GONZALEZ Samuel EUS
18. MATTHEWS Michael RAB
19. GALDOS ALONSO Aitor CJR
20. CARRARA Matteo
I've seen two top tens and they have a different Izaguirre... lets hope the one with Gorka is correct
Ive scored it with Gorka's score, ive done the finish line points. been decent for me so far 3 in the top 10.
Livestrongnick, i bet your wishing you never took wegmann out now from your very original team
Well 3 in the top 12, but i had the winner, looking good for points today, here are the official results with climbs and points
http://vueltapaisvasco.diariovasco.com/clasificaciones-ciclistas-vuelta-...
As with the Volta a Catalunya, no young rider category, however we have separate sprints category/points and a separate points category/points
right here goes, nice a prompt today thanks to Gkam.
Wig_Billy takes the early lead, but tight at the top

Let me know if you think I have scored your team incorrectly (its alot easier to make a mistake with more people)
Not that it affects me but, in the official site's website, it shows Martin Velits 14th not Peter (If you scored Peter instead of Martin)
Thanks TER - very bad for me today, as usual the not-quite-as-hilly-as-I-thought stages are my downfall - BUT I do have Peter Velits as well as Sammy Sanchez so I should have slightly more I think...
Cheers, Chris
No i scored Martin (well no-one had him) but cheers anyway Bubby
It was Martin Velits that scored im afraid Chris (and just 4 for sanchez which quite a few people got), i almost gave you the points. Still time for big changes yet
Its a marathon, not a sprint, . . . . i hope
Thanks TER.
I have probably counted this wrong, but . . .
Galdos = 2
Sanchez = 4
Gorka = 14 + 3
2 MOV riders = 10 (kiryienka and Inxausti)
Total 33 ???
Yep correct, missed off Inxausti sorry, its things like that are easy to miss!
aaagghhhh Did Inxausti not start . . . . he was my star wildcard. Flu they say . . .
Flu . . . in Spain . . . its hot there. . . .
Can you hear me seething . . . .
