HAHA, the tv showing Boonen ahead of Cav
Crash at the end ROJAS still down BUT
Boonen wins ahead of
Sagan
Breschel
Freire
Eddy Boss
Bennati
Marcato
Chainel
Pozzato
Visconti
What is going on, the ticker says
1 Tom Boonen OPQ 5:32:44
2 Peter Sagan LIQ +0
3 Matti Breschel RAB +0
4 Óscar Freire KAT +0
5 Grega Bole LAM
6 Edvald Boasson Hagen SKY +0
7 Daniele Bennati RNT +0
Spot the mistake, I've made it easy for you
Argh i dropped Eddy Boss for Gilbert last night
But so far i have 1st 2nd and 10th plus 5 bonus for OPQ rider who i also think was in the top 20
Rubbish!!! why does marcato do something when i dont have him! and man why did i go degenkolbn and ballan argh
Boonen
Sagan
Breschel
Freire
EBH
1,2, and 4, with a bonus for an OPQ DS. 120 I think. Had Sagan in and out near the end but finally stuck with him. He'll win one eventually.
Only failure was Degenkolb but at least he had a try to catch the first group. Off for a ride now, lovely weather in Cambridge.
Ballan might score you something, i don't know 11-20th but i think he might have rolled through after the crash from the tv replay
Degenkolb tried with some of the Cav group to get back, but no-one was willing, I think Sky listened to us and pulled all of the Sky boys off the front of the chase because Eddy Boss and Knees were up in front
In better news for British cycling Lizzie Armitstead won the woman's version today http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cycling/17506154
Have to stop letting my heart rule by putting Cav in every time!! Took Sagan out last thing last night
It looks like we might continue with our game of leapfrog!! Had Degenkolb as well but Freire rather than Ballan.
Here were my last min changes
Mar 24, 20:10 Peter Sagan Edvald Boasson Hagen
Mar 24, 20:10 Philippe Gilbert Mark Cavendish
So i swapped 6th for 2nd and 0 points for 0 points, should have just kept Eddy and swapped Cav for Sagan
Thought Cancellera might be sore so substituted him for Sagan
Original plan was Pozatto but he looked tired in E3 so subbed in Degenkolb and Pozatto did look tired in today's sprint, but he was in the 1st group and top 10.
Stuck with my original 2, Boonen & Freire
Picked wrong FDJ DS Chainel has been good past few years but I chose Ladagnous on E3 form
Hopefully Paolini just finished outside top 10.
Hopefully 1st, 2nd, 4th & 11th+ should see me hold my place in the overall, if not move up a couple of spots.
1, 2, 4 and 9 (out of the top 10 that I know about)
11. Van Summeren
12. Goss
13. Cancellara
14. Knees
according to Cyclingfever
That would suit me, i had Vansummeren
I don't know where Road.cc get the break away stats from, but Infostrada had 63 G. Izagirre (ESP, EUS) where as other places had Jon Izagirre, who was number 64
I had Rojas and I'm gutted that he fell in the last few metres. That's cycling I guess.
1 Tom Boonen OPQ 5:32:44
2 Peter Sagan LIQ +0
3 Matti Breschel RAB +0
4 Óscar Freire KAT +0
5 Edvald Boasson Hagen SKY +0
6 Daniele Bennati RNT +0
7 Marco Marcato VCD +0
8 Steve Chainel FDJ +0
9 Filippo Pozzato FAR +0
10 Giovanni Visconti MOV +0
11 Johan Vansummeren GRM +0
12 Matthew Goss GEC +0
13 Fabian Cancellara RNT +0
14 Christian Knees SKY +3
15 Jon Izagirre EUS +4
16 Daniel Oss LIQ +4
17 Anders Lund SAX +4
18 Maarten Wynants RAB +6
19 Vladimir Isaichev KAT +6
20 Oscar Gatto FAR +8
So it was Jon Izagirre that was in the break and will score 10 so that was another transfer i missed points on
Mar 23, 10:39 Pablo Urtasun Jon Izagirre
I had 1st, 2nd, 10th, 11th plus bonus 5 for team win so 116 points
Cav not even in top 50
http://skysports.html.infostradasports.com/asp/lib/event/wccycling/index...
So just 1st and 2nd....not good but nevermind
I could bet that Boasson Hagen crossed the line before Freire.
Dave, when are the scores going up?
1st, 2nd, 5th, 16th and not sure what else but looking fairly positive!
1st, 2nd, 10th, 13th and team bonus.happy days
only first
Really? I'll believe that when i see it
REMEMBER folks, don't go mucking about with your teams as you only get 4 transfers this time as the classic's are all grouped together into one "race" this year
1st 4th & 6th today. I'm starting to think I should have done a bit more forward planning for Flanders and Roubaix.
1st-4th-5th not that good. When are scores up
Had EBH, Bennati and Breschel, pretty happy.
1st and 11th. Dropped Sagen doh! Kept Cav no idea why. Maybe if I drop him he'll do well. Not a good day at all
