Helmet induced headache
Out on the bike this morning I decided to leave the skull cap off under the helmet as the weather looked good. Big mistake. I've only used my current helmet with a skull cap underneath and hadn't realised just how much cold air it flows through the vents.
So there I was was feeling good, the evenings spent on the turbo trainer paying off, when bam! I'm thinking how cold my head is feeling and then it felt as though I'd been hit on the side of the head; an absolute monster of a headache.
Had to cut the ride short it was so painful. At least now the paracetomol are taking the edge of it.
