Interesting study looking at training....

Dr_Death, February 5, 2012

Spotted this during my trawl through pubmed. I thought it looked quite interesting and thought some people on here might find it useful/interesting.

I've not read the full article yet to tear it to pieces but the abstract looks interesting.

Interestingly the High Impact Aerobic Training was mostly done as running but seemed to improve time trial times.... Useful for those of us stuck at home in the winter and not able to swan off to a training camp! (Seems we could be getting better training at home?!)

Fair point but interesting start for further studies. N=1 trials are always going to be a bit bobbins but we know hiit works.....

My problem is that I am not an "elite national cyclist" Tongue

Reducing my exercise rate would very unlikely mean that I would get into better shape I am sure...

I am a keen fan of interval training though, since I don't have that much time on my hand.
