Tour of Qatar

OK, ToQ looks like 5 flat stages with a team time trial on stage 2, so I'm going for the 'all sprinters and swap in 2 TT riders' approach, but is this a good idea?

Am I better off looking at sprinters on teams that might do well in the TTT rather than getting TT specialists? If so which teams might do well in the 11KM TTT? Could Spartacus just ride it as an individual time trial and drag the rest of Radioshack along in his wake?

Fabian can always do that, even in the TdF!

I am picking Spartacus as my top rider this year, along with Sagan....

Sky should also do well, with their heavy focus on lead outs.

Its unlikely Cancellara can ride 11km faster alone, than with help from a team..

After all, RSN has a mighty good TT team that would be able to help him.

Just seen the headlines about the Qatar golf comp being reduced by a round due to the excessively high winds.

this race is going to be all about who gets in the front group when the peleton fragments.

My team as follows... (by what they ate on Christmas day)

2 had dried salted sheeps ribs, 2 had saurkraut, 1 had waffles, 1 had some sort of unidentified boiled meat, 1 had pasta, 1 had pavlova, 1 had a hot dog. Hopefully they all wake up feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning!
