The last thing you bought?

Just a bit of nonsense really. It could be anything in truth and doesn't have to be bike related. Links to any bargains would be great to share with fellow forumers....This will go two ways i reckon.... 4

but to start you off i bought a 2 pack of soda bread. Lovely with real butter.

a rail ticket from London to Lancaster after the last leg of my intended travel plan home from the Alps fell apart. Excruciatingly expensive.

Bike related: New brake levers, new cables and bar tape. Sadly the right brake lever is scratched already, I dropped my bike while on my last ride before heading out to Chamonix. Got some hella road rash too.

A pair of TRP CX8.4 brakes from Excel Sport in Colorado because despite TRP bombarding the media with test product and articles, they can't be bought for love nor money in Europe and they have a UK distributor that can't be bothered to answer their email.
What's the point of bringing out a new CX brake and not making it available for the race season?
