Stage 6 TdS
Thought i'd start is slightly earlier today rather than just posting the stage results because some people are asking for a thread during the race to discuss things in the stage
I know alot of you out there work, so wont be sitting watching it live, but i dont work just now, so will try and involves others watching it live
Sad news Juan Mauricio Soler from moviestar was in a crash and is in hospital with a fractured skull, so thought go out to him
4km to go and it could be anyone's, green and yellow are still there, 3 rabo and 3 leopard are there aswell
Ok, i'll talk to myself
2.5km to go, Cunego tries an attack and Kruijswijk shoots off in front of him, the break has cause Ten Dam to drop off the back of the 12 riders

I'm having a bumper day, also got 1,2,3,4 in the overall
Got 1st, 3rd and 4th
Sadly a Ubuntu update last night broke Flash so I couldn't watch the finish. My thoughts go out to Soler and is family, a brilliant climber, head injuries are scary
Stewie
I got 7 of mine in top 10 on the stage and also the same 7 in top 10 GC... woohoo
1 3 4 6 7 for me. But I guess a lot of people will score big.
1 2 3 4 8 in the overall
5 bonus on the stage for 2 rabos
Today was not the stage to drop Mollema for Soler.
Seriously, though, hope he's OK. Head injuries are, as mentioned upthread, particularly scary. Anyone know how the spectator got involved in the incident?
No news on 11th, keep an eye out here for an update http://uk.yahoo.eurosport.com/cycling/tour-de-suisse/2011/event.shtml

I think the 175 points barrier could be broken today by somebody
3,4,5,6,7,8 & 9 on the stage! plus 5 for an extra Rabobank.
1,2,4,6,7,8 & 9 in GC.
Think Dave's abacus has broken counting up all my points.
Hah no sooner had I posted when they sart to come up.
143 for me my highest ever.
176 top score by ruthclimb... also highest ever i think
in other news, my team sucked today
Gkam, have a look in the Evans, stop fidgiting around and tow me along.
176 is almost the highest... but I scored 178 on Stage 15 of the Giro when Nieve won.
152. Also highest ever! Soler had only just come back from injury. Thoughts go out to him.
Following article I read today is relevant

Woohoo my highest score yet!! joint 9th with a team of 8!!
richard
Gkam, have a look in the Evans, stop fidgiting around and tow me along.
Took me a min to understand what you meant
I have so many words, but ARGH will do
I've done enough work, time for you to lead me out, hurry along
On a bonus note, back in the top 100 and didn't even beat my top score

I'm sure you will jump of the front tomorrow.
Well i've made a couple of transfers and if they come off tomorrow they will be called "inspired"
If they dont, then no loss because the guys i transferred out dont have a hope of scoring
I want to be beating 139 my highest, if not then one day in the season i want to end up top of the pile
Did better today but I seem to be a step behind for this race. I will be even further behind come Saturaday & Sunday as I'm 'incommunicado' with no computer from tomorrow
so there will be no inspired transfers after Friday.
My nearest rival in the league can leap frog over me and take the lead
MY wishes go out to Soler, Just as he was back in form!
"I'll be back!"
“The energy of the mind is the essence of life.”
Ermm for some reason my team is yet to update with the scores from todays stage...is this just me affected?!

Are you sure your team is eligible? If you have 3 riders from one team it does funny things.
Stewie
Yep, Team was fully eligible...will wait til Dave logs onto here this am for an explanation hopefully...
I'm really pulling for a Lastras breakaway today after the disappointment of losing out on 33 points when I brought in Soler for Mollema. Still, 121 points on a mountain stage with no KM rider isn't too shabby.
176 is almost the highest... but I scored 178 on Stage 15 of the Giro when Nieve won.
I remember that day. Thought my score of 168 was a nailed on winner. Humbug.
Well Timbo, that day has to be the best I'll do all season. I feel like my form peaked a bit early there, especially since I'm planning on doing the fall classics.
Does that mean I'll have to take a dip in form right as the Tour is about to start? Uhoh...
