Bike transport Cambridge to London

rbx, June 8, 2011

Hi,

I'm planning to ride from London to Cambridge and then get the bike back to London later same day by Train / Bus.

However, the good friends at Google are unable to confirm that I can get a bike (Trek 7100 hybrid) on a bus or a train from Cambridge to London. Wondering if anyone here has any inputs on this.

Thanks!

Train only,Should be fine if at weekend, Although they do alot of engineering work on Sundays with a bus service. Weekdays have restrictions in Rushhours.

Trains are fine. Bikes are only banned on a few peak commuter services.

two wheels good; four wheels bad

Thanks folks! Trains it is then.

Hopefully, Thursday/Friday evening don't count as Rush hours.

Cheers!

Thanks again folks.

Did the ride today and came back comfortably on a direct train to Kings Cross. At GBP 20, a bit expensive but fast and comfortable.

Cheers!
