Bicycle speedway/grass track racing

TRs Blurb n Blog, April 17, 2009

Has any body on this forum done it? I'm thinking of giving it a go for a bit of a laugh and an excuse to build up another bike. Is there anything I need to know?

I'd like to have a go too. For me, hills are not easy, but I can motor along on anythings else, especially if I suspect someone trying to get past/trying to get away!

A chappy that works in/worked in a bike shop in bristol wanted me to go and have a crack at the cycle speedway racing up in filton but I havnt the courage...yet (or the bike for that matter)

I didn't have a go but it did look like fun. A top tip would be not to take your best togs and maybe wear something that you don't mind rolling about on the floor in!
