Advice re: new wheels.

Hi,

Ive just bought a set of mavic Ksyrium equipe wheels. My questions are:
1. how would I know if they've sold me last years model?
2. have the 2011 model been improved?

I did ask when buying and was told they where the 2011 model, but on checking the receipt today it said they were 2010 model! I bought them from JE James in Chesterfield. The reason I'm asking is that the 2011 model are for sale at the same price from Rutland cycles - £264, and have just checked the James website their 2011 models are £300.

What do you think??
