Base layers for all seasons - advice to avoid wet and cold.

Hi all.
I've been using a combination of Endura FS260 Jetstream jacket with btwin 500 long sleeve baselayer. It seems to work OK but I always run hot so get wet with sweat and cold if I try to get some fresh air/venting. Also noticed at the cafe stop the other weekend.

So can anyone recommend a solution - is the base layer or do I need to address the outer layer too?

Bear in mind I'm in the xxl in both - and I like the btwin as the sleeves are very long.

Thanks,

J

Take a dry base layer with you in a bag in your back pocket and change at the cafe stop, putting the wet one in the bag that the dry one was in. Problem solved. (Its a GCN tip FYI)
