Scratched paint work

Hi, is anyone aware of a way of touching up metalic paint over carbon?

Took my Canyon out of the shed this afternoon to discover a 3" scratch that had magically appeared overnight.....it's not particularly deep but it's right on the top of the top tube, very visible. Do those car touch up pens work?

It's a surface scratch so hopefully the rubbbing compound will do the trick. Thanks for the advice.

Has the scratch gone right through to carbon or just the lacquer? If it's just shallow and not deep enough for a finger nail to snag in try some cutting polish like farclas g3. You will have to wax /polish the area afterwards.
