Vintage French Roval Wheelset

French Roval, (before Specialized bought the name), road wheels with clincher rims in very good condition. There is evidence of a heat shrinkable material being added to the rear wheel, (perhaps remnants of a J disc aerodynamic modification by John Nosler), this and the lack of any, (significant), rim wear from braking, seems to indicate these were probably time trial wheels with limited use. This set includes a 13 to 18 tooth Suntour winner pro freewheel cluster. They also come with Maillard skewers. These wheels are built with some kind of narrow bladed spokes, semi-aerodynamic rims and are true and very light, with hubs that are silky smooth and spin just short of forever.
