Wahoo KICKR & disc brakes

Wahoo say that for disc brake bikes with a rotor of less than 160mm, the brake caliper may have to be removed to fit to the Kickr- which sounds like a right faff.

Anyone any experience of this generally?  Or  specifically with a Synapse?

I've got a kickr and disc brakes, no need to do anything with disc brake, other than fit plastic spacer incase you press lever. My discs are 1 60mm.

Just had look and there must be 30 - 35mm clearance to the caliper, can't see a 140 mm disc setup catching body of kickr
