New Cannondale Bad Boy - dont like the pedals!

Ive jsut got the bike and love it so far, its perfect for my commute but the pedals are a bit light weight. Im not sure I really warrant clips, its only 12 Miles a day - but wants oemthing sturdier - can anyone recommend anyhting?
