NW Cyclocross

Hi there Road CC land, does anyone have any experiance of North West cyclocross league? I'm an old fat git but would love to give it ago, but a bit weary of entering come autum. How fit/fast do you need to be? I know being dropped is not a worry but don't want to be too below standard. I'm an OK b group club rider with a slow 29min 10 PB. I'm told X is competitive but a bit more varied in its level across its field of entrants? Any advice or reminisance of past x racing welcome.

Have you read the league FAQ?

Here in the W.Midlands it's very popular and very accessible. There's a great sense of camaraderie 4 Just give it a try.
