Santos Trekking Lite or Koga Signature

I am looking to buy a new bike for commutes to work (a round trip of 15 miles) and general light touring (around 100 to 150 miles per week). My budget is around £1750 which means I could get a Koga Signature equipped with XT, or a Santos Trekking Lite equipped with Deore/LX combination. I have not seen or dealt with either before but both bikes and their companies seem well recommended. Any ideas for another option, or any feedback on either bike/compa
