FS Trek 1.5 frame and fork 56cm - not for sale any more
Just bought a Genesis Equilibrium frameset which is going to be my new toy, so i've got a 2008 Trek 1.5 frame and fork up for grabs. Alpha Alloy frame, Carbon fork with alloy steerer. I'll throw in the Cane Creek headset and pimpy Control Tech Scandium stem holding the forks in too, 110mm -5 degree 31.8mm.
It's put some miles in but it's in very good nick. It's a 56cm seat tube, 57cm hz top tube. Probably suit a rider 6 footish, to be honest it was always a touch small for me.
£80 posted? Buy the stem new and it'll cost you more than that

YGM re this.
I'm very interested.
Thanks
sorry - went too long without anyone snapping it up so now i've decided it's destined to be reborn as a fixed wheel TTer
Man thats rubbish, i'm gutted!
i would change my mind but i've already ordered the posh hub for the rear wheel...
You could always send the hub back?
i could, but now it's here i'm all excited about building it up. plus i won a wheel build as part of my bath alleycat prize, so i need to build something...
just need to find a 1/8" 50T chainring, anyone got one knocking about?
How about changing the title of your post to non on sale anymore!
Good luck with the build and have fun.
Dave had a bike frame and fork for sale,
He changed his mind but left his ad what a fail,
Soon he saw the error of his way,
Now he joins the fixie fray!
Thought you might like to see the finished article: ENO hub and velocity rim on the rear, fulcrum R3 on the front, giant aero 'post, deda bars and ritchey extensions. currently running 50/15 which is about 90", i'll see how that goes on a ten and adjust accordingly. since that pic i've swapped out the omega saddle (which was, to use an adjective coined by jezzzer the other day, 'a bit rapey') for a max flite which doesn't look as slight but is a lot more comfy. Oh and it has brakes. i'm a big fan of bikes with brakes.
Definatley not worth selling the frame after all!
nice toy but whats with the bars? TT practise? Very aero!
Red bikes are faster too...
Did you get chance to weigh before and after or does it feel lighter without the mechs etc?
