Merida Carbon Ride 3000 disc

Hi

I have been mountain biking for about 8 months now and am tempted to make the switch to the road.

I have been looking at the Merida Carbon Ride 3000 disc for general road use and was wondering if it was a good bike for me to start with. I am aware of the price but am really set on A: Carbon and B: Disc Brakes and this bike ticks both boxes.

Anyone out here had any experience with Merida - I know that they own a share in Specialised and have been in the frame making game for a long time.

I am also wondering what size I should go for - I am 5ft 10" with a 31in inside leg measurement!

Thanks in advance!

There are many manufacturers that do what you require. Get a cyclocross carbon bike and you use for road and off road. Best of both

Make sure you get hydraulic brakes:)
