Didn't managed to get out yesterday but managed a ride today added more miles and more hills.
The aim this year is to focus on more hilly rides as thats where I needed to improve last year.
Keep spinning!
You deserved to tell people about what you did today & you deserve to receive the gracious comments in return from 20 people you don't know for what your personal achievement - good health
Really good to hear - don't push too hard and keep it steady
CHAPEAU!I like to think it's stories like this that define us cyclists. Made of tough stuff.
Chapeau +4, onwards and upwards.
Good work, friend.
Thanks everyone, looking forward to getting out tomorrow morning. aiming to do a little more as well.
Anyone going through the same good luck in getting back and remember that it was just one moment in a life time of moments that caused the injury, the likelihood of it happening again is very small.
Well done. Enjoy your century.
Congratulations, well done with your recovery . I am in the same situation with a serious injury that will need many months to recover hopefully not too many. My ultimate target like yours is to be able to complete a century back end of this season or early next year.
Well done you!
It's never easy getting back on after an incident, but now you have, you'll be a stronger person than the one before.
Getting the fitness back is painful though. It can also be a huge amount of fun!
. _ Nice one!
hopefully 8 miles is the return to many more enjoyable miles for you.
chapeau +3 the hardest step is over now, onwards and upwards form here on in !
Chapeau!
welcome back...
Whilst Steve Abraham won't be getting worried anytime soon, it's infinite more times than what you did yesterday. Allez Allez Allez!
Thanks, I was hoping to do it a couple of weeks ago but had a chest and ear infection which as lowered my base even more. But I'll get back to where a I was and will complete a century this year.
I'm looking forward to getting out again later this week, but have my last session of physio tomorrow and 2 job interviews in the next couple of days to prep for.
I recently came off and broke my collarbone and have some reservations about getting back in the saddle but my experience is nothing compared to yours. Well done and enjoy!
top job ... well done ..
Chapeau +1
Top stuff!
Chapeau!
Well done! I had back surgery that was not from an accident and the road back from that was hard enough so bloody well done to you.!
