Cateye rear light mount

I ride a Ridgeback World Tourer which came with a bike rack. As I'm on the small side, I can't put a rear light on my seat post as there isn't enough of it exposed. I have a very good Cateye rear light that I'd like to use but the fixing bracket on the bike rack only has one screw-hole position whereas I need two. I've tried using cable ties but these then block the slide to enable the lamp to be fitted. Anyone got any suggestions as to how I can fix this light on? Thanks.

Cateye do make a range of alternative brackets, including a couple designed for racks: www.shopcateye.com/product/rapid-3-rear-tl-ld630-r

If there is clearance there are also clamps that will fit seat stays and a saddle rail mount etc.

Wiggle sell a few of them: www.wiggle.co.uk/light-spares/?ea=4294789830
