why pay extra £80 for Triban 500 SE?

Hello cyclists!
my first post and want advice on which shoulkd be my first road bike.
I'm down to three.

There is the: 1. Carrera Zelos. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/carrera-zelos-road-bike...

2. B-twin Triban 300. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-300-road-bike-white-id_8239800.html#an...

and 3. Triban 500 SE. http://www.decathlon.co.uk/triban-500-se-road-bike-black-id_8306187.html

I wanted to stay down to a £300 budget. The first two are within it. The third is not (£350).
Why would i spend the extra £80 on the Triban 500 SE?

The Triban 500 SE has a carbon fork which will improve the ride quality (comfort) and be lighter but apart from that I'm not sure what other upgrades it has over the Triban 300.

You could probably get a carbon fork from ebay for less than the £80 difference.
