255pts....my best tally ever ...full house...top10 on the stage....forum's scorum's stage win(day late for the queen stage though!!).....green arrows across the board......sometimes a stage like that reaffirms your faith in the game after what has been a distinctly average tour for me.
Team was:Nibali,Majka,Nieve,TenDam,Schleck,Bardet,Pinot,Peraud,Konig
Moved up from about 200th to 78th in the Pyrenees! Came 77th last year...
Don't these guys know that when they let someone else cross the line in front of them on a mountaintop finish with no time gaps, it still matters to us?!
225 for me, highest ever score on a stage, broke 2000 for TDF into top 500. Maybe could have done quite well if I had been bothered the first 6-8 stages.
should beat my best grand tour score too if i'm lucky
Back to the 20-30 points tomorrow, as saving for the TT
244 for me which was 63rd on stage
200 badge
podium and my highest ever score
It can't be... We're still (!) 'currently updating the game.' No we're not! The wait is over! Only three more dates to withstand!
Today is the last of the mountain days... It's a strange consolation to not drop quite as suddenly as I have been for the last three days...
Oh... We're still (!) 'currently updating the game.' Life is hell...
Yay! 'We're currently updating the game.'! Yay! 'We're currently updating the game.' 'We're currently updating the game.' I'm (!) 'currently updating the game.' You're (!) 'currently updating the game.' We're all (!) 'currently updating the game.' Let's all (!) currently update the game.' I'm so happy today (!)... I'm going to the beach!
Not so good for me today. Kept J Rod in and I knew I shouldn't have. He was in out in out last night and I then decided to save a transfer.
1,2,3,4,6,8,12 plus J Rod (and Serpa).
1,2,3,4,5,6,8,11 and 5 sprint points for tommy v
1 Vincenzo Nibali (Ita) Astana Pro Team 4:04:17
2 Thibaut Pinot (Fra) FDJ.fr 0:01:10
3 Rafal Majka (Pol) Tinkoff-Saxo 0:01:12
4 Jean-Christophe Peraud (Fra) AG2R La Mondiale 0:01:15
5 Tejay Van Garderen (USA) BMC Racing Team
6 Romain Bardet (Fra) AG2R La Mondiale 0:01:53
7 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Belkin Pro Cycling Team 0:01:57
8 Leopold Konig (Cze) Team NetApp - Endura
9 Haimar Zubeldia Agirre (Spa) Trek Factory Racing 0:01:59
10 Alejandro Valverde Belmonte (Spa) Movistar Team
1.2.3.4.6 plus nieve, mountains, young rider and GC
Nice one stumps - similar I think, 1,2,3,4,6,10 + Nieve. Probably gonna write-off tomorrow, keep a GC team for the TT and save transfers for the Champs-Elysees...
1,2,3,4,12
not bad, 1,2,3,4,6,8,10 + 5 for grivko + gc, mountains etc
Kept my team 8 GC swapped out Jrod and Zubeldia for Nibs and Ten Dam but kept Tommy v
Got Voeckler and De Marchi but looks likes it's going to be a GC day. Got Nibali, Peraud, Pinot and Bardet as well as Majka. Need something from Purito but it's not going to happen.
Off topic, but Australia look way to good for Sir Brad and co for the commonwealth 4000m pursuit.
Scotland v England for the Para ladies tandem
Kadri and Nieve have gone off the nose of the break.
well after taking De Marchi out yesterday, I decided to put him back today
Majka
Nibali
Pinot
J Rod
De Marchi (konig)
Shleck (Ten Dam)
Peraud
Visconti
Nieve
Cant justify bring Valverde in, he's just too expensive!
Still got 18 transfers in the bank!
I'm hoping for GC today, have the top 5 on GC plus Majka, and just have Nieve for the break (and a quid each way on Nieve, Horner and Trofimov, so 2 for 3 ain't bad...)
Unfortunately had to drop Voeckler (and J-Rod) to get Valverde in, which would be fine except I brought in Haussler for 19 and 21 and apparently he's abandoned. Bit of a waste, but doesn't affect today's score as he'd have got zero anyway. Had Haussler in for all the sprint stages except the one where he came second...
Haussler is abandonne.
Here we go full break:
Mikel Nieve (Sky), Jesus Herrada and Jon Izaguirre (Movistar), Yuriy Trofimov (Katusha), Alessandro De Marchi and Marco Marcato (Cannondale), Lars Boom (Belkin), Jan Bakelants (OPQS), Blel Kadri (AG2R), Matthieu Ladagnous (FDJ), Daniel Oss (BMC), Bryan Coquard, Kévin Reza and Thomas Voeckler (Europcar), Julien Simon (Cofidis), Sylvain Chavanel and Marcel Wyss (IAM), Bartosz Huzarski and Tiago Machado (NetApp) and Florian Guillou (Bretagne
