Looking for a good route around the Isle of Wight

Any Isle of Wight experts around?

I'm planning a trip around the Island next week and would love a suggestion for a nice anticlockwise loop starting from Ryde. 60-70 miles? I'm planning on stopping for lunch at the Garlic Farm near Arreton on the way back to the ferry (hence anticlockwise).

Cheers!

Good tip, thanks very much.

With a bit of googling of iow randonee I found a good clockwise route from Ryde, then reversed it in Bike Route Toaster. Hopefully it didn't use any one-way streets 1

Not sure if you're aware, but there is a fully-signed "official" on-road round the island cycle route already. Weighs in at 100km and you can follow it in either direction, but you'd need to pick it up a mile or two outside of Ryde. A small detour would take in the garlic farm too.

Have a look here:

Did the short version back on the May bank holiday myself and it was an enjoyable ride, planning to go back over later in the year and do the full route.
