Standard

Valverde
Gerrans
Slagter
Haussler
Greipel
Demare
Pichot
Gerard
Oliveira

Greipel is climbing the best I ever seen this year str8 from get go in TDU and recently coming 4th in KOM yes KOM lol at tour of Lux, he is still getting lighter each year too losing that track weight, tho still got some of the broadest shoulders in peleton.

Purist

Contador ( Really like the Saxo Squad )

Sagan (speaks for himself)

Mollema (team is totally set up for Mollema to give his best go)

Pinot ( my number one pick for youth, as I really like this bloke always have, if only you were allowed to use training wheels to descend)

Bardet (my number 2 for yth, extra points help I hope)

Tom Dumolin ( This bloke is absolutely flying and stamping himself as a serious TTer)

Visconti ( was backed earlier in year to win TDU before falling if I remember first stage. Seems to have some back well with 4th in Nationals last month.( How good does Fromolo look )

Oliviera (this bloke is a pretty smart TTer and was bought across to Lampre by Rui Costa, Oliveira said he hopes to learn lots, he is already climbing better, winning Portugese Nationals (both TT and ROAD last month beating the likes of Rui and Machado)

Last but not least my BIG GAMBLE
his last chance before he goes on my BFL=Barred For Life.

REIN TARRAMAE ( we know what promise he showed a few years ago, he seems to have shown a bit lately at Turkey and Rhone. I am hoping he will go for KOM and get Cofidis on Tele)

Good luck everyone, well nearly E1.. 35

Ramunas Navardauskas (Garmin-Sharp) has a shot at taking the leader's yellow jersey at the end of today's stage thanks to his third place on stage one.

He is a good climber and excellent tactician and is expected to be in the front group after the hilly finale. Garrmin-Sharp indicated to Cyclingnews that the team is ready to let him try for yellow despite targeting overall success with Andrew Talansky.

Navardauskas was a late call up to the Garmin-Sharp team, replacing David Millar, but proved he has excellent form.

"Anything is possible," he said when asked if he can take yellow in Sheffield.

"We'll see how the stage ends. It's a difficult day with the hills. It wont be easy with the wind on the tops of the climbs. There are other smart riders hoping to take yellow. We'll see what happens. We've got nine category climbs and lot of other climbs too."

"I think Sagan is a big rival for the yellow. We'll see at the end of the stage."

Sagan and Valverde for Cavs and Demare.

Wanted to go Vanmarke or Slagter and for some reason ended up with Thomas, Maybe patriotic fervor, but not so happy with my decision this morning.

Visconti
Modolo
Bennati
Coquard
Haussler
Gerard

Make up the numbers.

Nice reply Nibali, the Forgotten Man.
Kadri the most agressive

Blel Kadri has been awarded the Antargaz most agressive rider price of the day.

Got that very wrong, a no show from Vanmarcke 20 was not worth the penalty, negative points from that

Brilliant stuff, what a great last 30km. I brought in Kwiat and Sagan (3rd/4th) although really should've started with Sagan yesterday, that was silly. Had a couple of quid on GVA each way tho, so that makes up for Colombia's failure on Friday!

I knew forgetting to grab Sagan would bite me in the bum today, Oh well this could possibly be my worst result ever in Standard and took a 10pts pen for the pleasure LOL.
Pretty happy with Purist tho which is my main concern atm, with a 4,8,10,13 and 4 of the 5 spots for youth Jersey.

What an absolutely cracking stage, never mind your flat run in to london, this is what the tour is all about.

A massive well done to Yorkshire on producing 2 brilliant stages, roll on France.

Oh and i haven't a clue how well i did, to busy watching the stage !
