Buying used carbon road bikes, good or bad?
So specifically, I am looking at a 2010 giant tcr advanced sl 1, but with kyrsium SL's instead of the stock carbon clinchers. The bike has 4500 miles about as claimed by seller and is in good condition. Bike is fitted with sram red. The price I was able to bargain to was $1800. I currently have a 2013 madone 4.5(ultegra), but it is a bit big. So is buying mid range carbon new or old high end carbon better? Is 1800 a good price for this bike? The giant also includes a garmin edge 200.
Any comment or experience with giant tcr advanced SL's are appreciated. Thanks
