FORUM's SCORUM's MINI LEAGUE 2014

by ray silvester   May 16, 2014

Just a few points of business

1)The League we are using is the one with apostrophe's named Forum's Scorum's with an ID of 76157

2)As well as the standard competitions we will also have a UCI type ranking system(to be reffered to as FSUCI) based on pts assigned for stages and competitions as follows:

Grand Tour Overall:35,20,15,10,7,5,4,3,2,1
Grand Tour Purist Overall:10,6,3,2,1
Multi Stage Race Overall:10,6,3,2,1
Multi Stage Race Overall Purist:5,4,3,2,1
Autumn Classics/Spring Classics/Worlds/Commonwealths/Womens World Cup Overall Competitions(standard only):20,15,10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1
Every Stage:3,2,1....ties will be broken by GC position within that competition and then within the game.
Queen Stage in Giro/TDF/Vuelta:10,8,6,4,2,1

I'll try and outline the points available for each competition prior to the start

3)CUT OFF TIMES

a)Teams must be entered into the league on stage 1 of a tour/multi stage competition to be considered for the GC in that race.

b)Teams must be entered by STAGE ONE of the SPRING CLASSICS to be considered for GC in the Overall Competition.

c)Teams will be considered for stage FSUCI ranking points for individual stages on the stage in which they enter......and FSUCI ranking points for competition GC from the first race that they are entered for AT STAGE ONE.

4) Below we will keep a record of the individual competition winners and add them to those of 2013

hey guys,

just wondered how do you see who came where in the league for each stage?

Is there a way that I can check my positions for each day? I can only seem to find the overall for each stage, rather than the individual stage scores.

Merci

click the cursor over the total score and it will reveal stage score.....you have to do it individually for each team though(hence the delays in getting the results out sometimes).

So you have to click on each persons name for each stage for each comp to get their scores??
Wow, that's a lot of work!

Is there not an easier way?

It might be per competition, the top 5's ray does at the end. I've finished a lot of minor GC's in the top 5 of Forum Scorum (Poland, Eneco, Catalunya) then done atrocious on some of the others (TDF, Vuelta). The comps rank the same putting me above you on this basis, despite you being over 1000 points above me overall

naffets' 45th spot on purist knocks him out of contention for this combined jersey.

Ive left it too late for the win, but winning FS Vuelta and Worlds gives me another 55 points, and i think currently top in the autumn classics (although very tight so a bad last race and I score nothing), means I could nick 3rd and also win the combined jersey

I did tell everybody i'd be unable to keep updating due to work commitments on the 'taking a bacxk seat' thread and invited anyone who wanted to finish the scores off.

Did no one agree to carry on your fine work?

Be such a shame if Forum Scorum were to die! Gave me something else to aim for, especially trying to keep in the top 30 for next years 2 leagues!

I would love to take over, but I have 4 kids a full time job I barely have enough time to get out on my bike!
Anyone else out there with a bit more spare time?
Enrique???

Same I just don't have the time, with my job, already partaking in the running of the game and traveling at weekends for the football

I've volunteered to do the 3.0 comp for next year but the FS comp is just to much for me as well with shift work etc.

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

If i get a couple of hours free in the next few I'll finish this season's off.......seems a shame to waste the hard work to fall short of finishing the season....but any volunteers to run it next season(or help out)would be much appreciated.

Just email me at ray.silvester@nhs.net if you want to help and we can work responsibilities out?

I may be able to help next year if I have the time and a new laptop, as the one I have barely works and I don't currently have any up to date programs, im still working with excel 03
