Giro D'Italia Stage 3

Another bunch sprint beckons before the rest day. Most teams will be very similar so some high scores all round unless there's an upset from a breakaway but i cant see it happening to be honest.

Looks like Scarponi, Majka, Kiserlovski made up 11 secs on other GC riders

1,2,3,5,7,11,12,16 & Tuft - Full house and podium badges 1 They're the ones I always feel I should be able to get and often struggle with so that's a relief.

Ooh, Tjallingii should get most combative today too with 7 pts in the classification, the winner only gets 6!

3 trades 10 penalty pts.

Out EBH PETT BOZIC
In NIZZ FERRARI RUFFO

Viviani

Slightly potting Nacer, as he hasn't got as many km in the legs as the other sprinters. might hurt later.

Tjallingii has won both KOMs and the intermediate sprint 4

Plus top of the KOM classification, so 17 points for him today.

I was rather hoping he wouldn't take the intermediate sprint but Chicchi got 10 and has another chance on Tuesday when Tjallingi will only score 5 and can have a rest. Might have both later.

Something a little bit ODD I have noticed.

BARDINI haven't had a rider in break for 2 days. very strange indeed for them or any Italian team in giro.

They'll be saving it for the sunshine and the adoring Italian public!

I brought in Apollonio and fedi for wyss and petacchi. Aside from that I have another 6 sprinters and boem, just to be different. And we get evening cycling as well today! Love it when Cali comes around.

Kittel
Bouhanni
Viviani
Nizzolo
Ferrari (In for Petacchi)
Matthews
Chicci (for Fernandez)
Durbridge
Wyss

Durbridge should be another safe 11/12 points so wasn't worth a penalty
Wyss again not worth a penalty as couldn't afford anyone else who I thought could top 10 and he could even pick u a few points anyway if he wants to finish 11-20.
