road.cc Team on Cyclogs
With a new year just around the corner, thought I would ask if there is enough interest in having a road.cc team on cyclogs.
For anyone that has not used www.cyclogs.org it allows you to record your rides distance, speed duration etc.
Simple to use and it can generate graphs and reports if thats your thing or you can set a target and it will log your progress.
Its free to use.
If there is enough interest will log a team and we can start logging our miles from 1st January 2010.
Sounds like a plan... no-one had taken up my mapmyride group as yet...
I would be interested in a road.cc team on there, would give me even more reason to get out and get the miles in.
not all carbon is the same.
im up for it.. although i may not add all that much to the total millage
Is that the right link...?
"Welcome to C Y C Logistics, LLC
working together for your shipping needs...."
Isn't it a .co.uk?
Have set the Team function up on Cyclogs so we are good to go from 1st January 2010.
If you have not already registered with Cyclogs you will need to do so to be able to log your rides.
When you log your rides you will see between the weight box and the rating box a 'Team Box' click the drop down menu and obviously click on road.cc its that simple.
Lets get the miles in the Team to beat is Cyclechat.
i'm on cyclogs and in a team already, i can be on two teams at once yeah?
might be a while before we're knocking on cyclechat's door
i'm in though, put my december commutes in. not that they add up to much!
i'm in, under my nom-de-route 'Burt Van Rental'
we're up to 11th already and there's only three of us
Team Sky will be calling soon then
That 20 mile charity ride on saturday helped then. The 3 miles each day won't add up to much!
So, do we all get goodies if we beat cyclechat and cycle social?
so i take it that we can log our commuting/general arsing around town miles as well as them 'serious' ride miles..
that's my understanding - any old ride will do. is that right?
it's all chamois, or slightly uncomfortable jeans time
I'm in...I've put in the last 5 days retrospectively and will try to rememeber to put in anything from now on.
How am I the quickest currently?
my commute home is about the equivalent of a cat 4 tour climb, so i ain't quick on average
...not that i am on the flat either
i gonna have to stick my cateye on the postie bike just to see how far my work bike milage is.
wonder if you can include three post bags of weight also
(prob. not)
I might axe Mapmyride and go with Cyclogs from Jan 1st to be part of the gang!
How am I the quickest currently?
As I'm a retard and actually I'm slowest!!
Not helped by todays commute.
new year, new table - don't forget to add your rides!
good man - been putting the january miles in then!
Yep, aiming to beat 2009's 6500 miles. Might need the mountain bike tomorrow though looking at the weather forecast!!
I'll happily take the title of last man riding in terms of speed
Im on board...will start helping to rack up the miles with my commutes and training rides!
not all carbon is the same.
did cyclogs forget to renew their domain name? because all i'm getting is the 123-reg holding page
tactically naive if so
yeah i got that as well, luckily I kept my MyCycling.co.uk account open to keep track of the mileage
Still getting that domain reg page. shame, anywhere else that people are going to hit the road.cc team totals?
not all carbon is the same.
I'm still using Mycycling.co.uk as I said above but it doesn't support groups which is a shame, there is www.mycyclinglog.com though which you can set groups up on.
Cyclogs: Just seen this quote on another forum -
"OK I've heard from Mr Cyclogs...
The good news is the domain registration has not lapsed and all the ride data has been backed up.
It's the same problem that occurred before - the hosting service claim it is taking up too much server capacity.
The bad news is there is no obvious answer so he has to check all the code, polarise the dilithium crystals and all that sort thing, but as noted above, he does it in his spare time so there's no way of knowing how long it will take.
Pen and paper or a spreadsheet for the duration. Keep calm and carry on."
hopefully it'll be back up and running soon so we can start going for that number one spot
