Ardennes, France\Belgium - Advice Wanted!

Hi, me and a friend have booked Eurotunnel for June and are taking the bikes over in the car for a week. We plan to do a few days in central/western Belgium and then make our way over to the Ardennes or champagne region. We are planning to find a campsite then do daily rides of about 60-90miles. Does anybody know any nice areas for road bikes or good campsites around that area? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Paul

Stayed in La Roche en Ardennes one time
Good campsite run by a dutch bloke on the edge of town - not far from the yank tank.

Are you kidding?

Go to oudenaarde. Ride anywhere.

(There are little coloured markers that you can follow for various iterations of the Tour of Flanders)

Take big tires and several spare bottles...

You only need 1 bottle if you've got a good bottle cage 3

But yeah, what he said. Google the routes of any of the Belgian Classics and pick and choose your best bits. Muur de Huy...Geraardsbergen...all the Hellingen, all sorts out there!
