Here's hoping this will happen. A wee look on street view shows that there aren't many options available. But with my not being local and not having been in Haddington for a good few years doesn't help. Though there doesn't seem to be any cycling lanes near the schools to be interfered with by those pesky 4x4's

This might persuade some more people to walk or use other means of transport, but the majority will just be 'displaced.' I hope they observe just where the new drop off points end up being. We could easily see 4x4s pulling up into cycle lanes on main roads instead. More scrutiny needed.
