Help with my Saddle

by kitebeast   January 21, 2014

Hi guys, I am hoping someone may be able to help, I have had this saddle since 2006 and really like the way it feels, I have just upgraded my bike and would like to buy another saddle so that I have 2 the same, any clues would be great.

Many thanks in advance.

It's a Selle Italia Flite of one variation or another.

Yes, it looks like an obsolete a Flight to me too.

Ebay?

A side photo would help.

Doesn't look like any Flite I've ever seen, going back to the mid 90's.

Its too wide, It looks more like an early gel. But if you got it in 2006, I have no idea

I have bought a Flite but it feels wider and causes me to sit further forward on the saddle, which then starts to hurt !!

Does it have anything stamped on the under side? Stickers? anything that may give you a clue, because I just can't remember a Selle like that

No, sorry no other markings on it besides the Selle Italia logo on the back.

I've twittered selle italia for you, because I have no idea what that is, it's definitely not an old flite with that profile!

Hi, it's an oem model selle italia x2 saddle. The standard aftermarket model in black or white is still available through Evans cycles. Cheers

Hi, thanks for that, the X2 does look very similar, so I have one on order.
