Six of the best custom painted bikes from the wild to the whacky

Bikes, they come in many shapes and forms. And lots of colours too. You can have your road bike in just about any colour you fancy, and if you're feeling special, you can even get a custom painted bike. We've scoured the pages of road.cc to gather up six of the best-looking custom painted bikes we've seen in 2017.

You might not agree with our list, and that's fine. That's what the comments section is for. Let us know if you've seen a better-looking custom painted bike that should have been on this list.

Someone at road.cc is being sacked right now, for allowing an Argon 18 bike to be seen on the site.

They will show the most obscure bikes in the world, but heaven forbid an Argon make it onto these pages.

Gosh, some of those original six are eye-watering! Aru's Argon is ok, but the Ramato 'beaten copper' finish is much nicer.

One of my Trek Project Ones ... I don't put it in the rotation much as it is too pretty.

Wilier’s Cento10 Air Ramato finish is jaw dropping,  should be though for an extra grand!
