Moor 2 Sea Sportive Saturday 8th September 2012

The Moor 2 Sea Sportive is an exciting new event in the South West Sportive Calendar. The event takes place on Saturday 8th September 2012 and the Event HQ is at Exeter Racecourse. There is a choice of two routes; the 'Challenge is 67 miles with approximately 7,000 ft of climb and the 'Extreme' which is 109 miles with a massive 11,700 ft of climb, including gradients up to 20%.

Both routes include a 'King of the Mountains' style hill climb stage at Mamhead followed by a two mile closed circuit finish around Exeter Racecourse.

Medals will be awarded to all those who finish their chosen route within the designated time for their age category. An additional medal pin will be awarded to those who complete the KoM stage inside the designated time.

There is a 'Caravan Club' site at Exeter Racecourse for those who would like to bring their tent, caravan, or motor home.

There will be breakfast available at the start and meals and other refreshments at the finish.

Showers and changing rooms available along with ample free parking at the Event HQ.
