The Surrey Hills are oft-explored by our road-riding cycling cousins, yet there’s so much more to see off the beaten track on the trails and sprawling wooded sections of the rural area – taking in similar areas of the North Downs and beyond in the Wiggle Ups and Downs MTB sportive.
The peaks of the tracks, trails and bridleways of Ranmore Common, Hurst Wood, Wooton Common and Broadmoor make up a course of exciting forest action, weaving through the countryside on a testing course that offers a multitude of speedy downhill descents in exchange for the tricky climbs you’ll pass to reach them – complimented by inspiring views atop these peaks.
There’s much to see and much to enjoy in this technical and very rewarding off-road Surrey sportive.
