This will be a great challenge taking in 5,032 FT of tough iconic local road climbs. Up the Goyt will test your climbing with four tough climbs and takes in some iconic locations en route. The Goyt Valley is one of the most picturesque locations on the route, with plenty of cafes if a quick refuel is required.
For the serious rider tackling the route can be done none stop to get a competitive time. The leisure rider can use the route as a great training ride whilst taking in some of the best scenery in the area. You may even be able to get this route done in a morning, afternoon or even after work.
How to enter the Polaris Up the Goyt Challenge
Just email a screen shot of your ride from Strava , Map My Ride or other ride mapping tools, along with your name and an email address, should we need to contact you to inform you that you have won, be sure to include your moving time (time taken to completed the ride) to polaris [at] polaris-bikewear.co.uk. You have from the 01.08 to the 31.08 to complete this challenge , but feel free to download and ride at any time.
We will publish your times on a time sheet below once the ride is live so you can compare your time to your friends and others, If you would prefer to remain anonymous please send us an alias or nickname that we can use.
Up the Goyt is a FREE to enter and just a bit of fun. It will hopefully get you out enjoying your summer cycling.
