The original and the best. It is the toughest both physically and technically of all the events offering a full take of the best of Lakeland riding and is a great way to end the year of Adventure Cross.
There are 2 routes- Mini massif 44 miles and Massif 62 miles
The Lake District route, starting and finishing in Keswick, is both picturesque and challenging, offering something for everyone. The route is a mix of bridleways, flowing trails, tracks and minor mainly traffic free lanes showing off the full range of what the Lakes have to offer and circumnavigating the Skiddaw Massif.
It ís a fantastic course for a cross bike, although a hard-tail mountain bike would be equally suitable, it takes you to places and offers views inaccessible by road.
Due to the constantly changing scenery and the shifts in the terrain the ride goes by remarkably quickly as each new section throws up a new challenge or a spectacular view.
Please note: this event is not open to riders under 16.
