Our Kent Coast ride (formerly the Viking Bike Ride) is a fabulous, family friendly scenic bike ride that takes participants on a 30 mile route around the East Kent coast, and a bit further for some.
The 30 mile route takes in Ramsgate, Margate and Reculver, the 56 mile route take you on to Whitstable and Canterbury. Or riders can just cycle from one check point to another.
Both routes mainly follow quiet roads and cycle paths. The 30 mile route follows the Viking Coastal Trail around the Isle of Thanet between Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate and Reculver.
The 56 mile challenge continues on the Oyster Bay Trail towards Whitstable where it joins up with the Crab and Winkle Way towards Canterbury. You’ll follow quiet country roads towards Sandwich, on to Pegwell Bay to the Viking Ship.
Online, phone and postal registration is available for this event. For a children's or postal registration form, please email events [at] bhf.org.uk or phone 0845 130 8663.
