We have a 50 mile, fully signposted, mostly flat route starting from the Polocini Coffee Shop and heading out to the Cheshire lanes. This is the ideal route to get some good winter base miles. The entry fee is just £5 with soup and a roll at the finish

I hope it goes better than the unreliability ride I arranged. No bugger turned up!

I'd quite like to do a reliability ride. I'm no racer (on the road) and sportives just don't appeal. Shame there are never any within a reasonable distance of where I live.

Thanks for the comments. We've also got jaffa cakes at a feed stop and Haribo. We ALWAYS have Haribo.
