I'm selling my 2013 Canyon Ultimate AL 9.0 Di2 bike. Strava tells me that it has only done 307 (dry) km. It's a fantastic bike, climbs like nothing else I've ridden, and the Ultegra Di2 groupset is a revelation. So, why am I selling it? I own several bikes, including two roadies, and live in a one-bedroom basement flat with a girlfriend who doesn't like having bikes in the bedroom. My other road bike is a Van Nicholas with mechanical Campag and, while the Canyon I'm selling here undoubtedly goes a bit faster and has better kit, I love the feel of my titanium bike and have done a number of long rides on it that give it a certain sentimental value. So, the Canyon unfortunately has to go. I can show the purchaser a number of emails from canyon.com in order to prove ownership. The spec is as follows:
- 2013 Canyon Ultimate AL 9.0 Di2 XL/60 in deep black ano/titanium (basically, matte black with dark grey decals)
- Full Ultegra Di2 including brakes and chain set, which is a 53/39 with 175 mm cranks)
- Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheel set with Mavic tyres
- Ritchey stem (110 mm) and bars (44 cm)
- Canyon VCLS seat post
The 2014 model lists at £2099 on the Canyon website and that's before you add delivery and packaging charges (yes, I know it has an extra sprocket). I'm asking £1500 for my bike, which represents about £1 per km in depreciation - that'll teach me to whip my credit card out after a good month at work and a few celebratory beers...
Bike is available for collection in Muswell Hill, north London, or I could ride it over to you and get the train home if you live within the M25 or thereabouts. PM me with any questions or if you want a phone number.
Some pics are attached (please note bottle cages have been promised to my brother and I'm keeping the pedals for my winter hack, so neither are included)
