Jamis Xenith Comp 2012 for sale (frame size: 54)
Product description: I bought this from Evans Cycles back in August 2012. Please refer to the full product spec from its website. Just search for Jamis Xenith Comp 2012. It's not available for sale on its website but it does have the full product spec.
Frame Size: 54
PLEASE NOTE: the wheels shown in the photos are not the wheels that will come with the bike. The bike will be provided with either Shimano wheels (dependent on the wheels that come with my new bike) or the original wheels the bike came with. The Speedplay pedals, Garmin 800 mount and cadence monitor are also not included.
What have I upgraded?
Saddle: Specialized - Romin Expert
Front and Rear Brakes: Shimano 105
Front Derailleur: Shimano Ultegra
New BB30 bottom bracket
Handlebars: Pro (42)
Stem: Bontranger (you can also have the longer stem that came with the bike)
Bar Tape: Lizard Skin
Two Specialized Bottle Cages
Pedals: Shimano 105
On request, I can provide a Specialized helmet and Shimano road shoes (size 10).
I also had a cycefit for this bike, so I can provide full geometry on request.
When was it last serviced?
August. I've only ridden it twice since then.
Is there any damage?
A deer jumped out at me in Richmond part in February 2013. The ensuing wipe up meant that I grazed the rear derailleur and bent the hanger. The hanger has been replaced. There is also a bit of wear and tear to the underside of the downtube.
Why am I selling this bike?
I'm looking to get into more serious road cycling. As part of the transition from sportive to cat riding, I'm upgrading my race bike.
Who would this bike be good for?
For the seasoned cyclist who already has an expensive road bike, this would make an excellent winter bike.
For newcomers to cycling. This is an excellent bike for getting into road cycling and sportives. I've cycled in quite a few sportives (including the RideLondon 100) on this bike, usually finishing within the top 20 on this bike.
It goes without saying that it would be good for commuting as well.

Bike available from 8 February 2013 (at the latest). Collection only: Clapham area.
