Commuter Diaries - flats and a stumpy stem
just fitted some flat pedals and a short stumpy stem to my fixed / flip flop Kona Paddy Wagon in true urban fixed style.
What great fun, the short stem has really made the steering twitchy, which is a blast in traffic. I am loving the freedom this bike has given me over the weekend, just throw on my crocs and get riding into town.
Track stands at the lights are easy and the responsive handling has been awesome.
The TBC stem and pedals look great and perform brilliantly.
A great bike with bolt through axles for security, flat pedals and low weight, jump on it for shopping, dodging traffic or hammering country lanes.
