There have been some 'crunchy' deals coming out of Planet X and On-One the last few weeks.

Sub £20 merino, great value wheelsets etc. etc.

But the email that just dropped in my inbox left my jaw on the floor.

Buy one bike, get one free...

I repeat

Buy one bike, get one free...

Does this show a sense of desperation in the bike industry or is it true deck clearing for new ranges and innovation?

Either way if I had the money I would be on it like a flash.

Sounds great but the link doesn't seem to work.

i think that's probably because the offer has expired; IIRC it was only for a day

They do genuine good deals. A couple of years back I got a free Carbon frame and forks with my titanium frame. I built up the Ti one but still have the carbon frame (size Large if you want to make me an offer?) It is floaty light, the forks are so light (same forks both frames) I thought they would never hold my 6'2" 189 lb body. But it does and the bike handles well. If you like their stuff sign up for the e-mails as much of the real bargains are time limited. Or stock limited so if you are not very small or very big you need to be quick. they seem to be a company that is growing fast and in these times that's no mean feat!
