Last night was the launch of issue 3 of the free magazine 'Fixed' over at the newly opened and uber trendy 14 bike co shop in Shoreditch. I was surprised at the turn out but unlucky to have missed out on the free grog that was given away. I guess if I had turned up before the 200 or so people had I might have grabbed a can for myself!

What was most interesting was the cross section of people riding fixed. OK, there were some incredibly hip people there but then again we were in Brick lane. With the crowd pleasantly lubricated, a raffle was held and prizes given away (Goldtec wheels, Vans shoes etc.).

An impromptu track standing competition ensued before we all retreated into the shop for the premiere of 'Council of Doom'. All in all a top evening amongst people who love bikes.

If you are into fixed gear riding or would like a good read on what people do on these bikes it is well worth picking up a copy.
