Off to sunny* Portugal… to meet the Tour de France winner (hopefully)

Avatar

Off to the Cervelo Test Team launch. Should be fun, Carlos Sastre is on the team never spoken to a Tour de France winner before (although I was standing next to Lance Armstrong when he got off his bike after winning the 2005 Tour, but that's another story).

If you want me to ask him a question, I will - although I'm probably not going to be asking him THAT question. Thor Hushovd if you've got any questions for him fire them over too.

There shoud be some of these there too…

And some of these

Oh, and possibly the odd one of these…

Hope so.

*probably quite sunny.

if he misses the shleck brothers? Not sure that I've spelled that right, but it's Friday night and I've had a couple of glasses with my dinner, for purely medicinal purposes you understand 3

Ask him if he feels like he will be the patron in the Tour this summer (as defending champion) or if Lance will be should he ride.

Will do. Young Alberto might feel that he should be patron too - as this is his first defence of his '07 win.

Not sure about that. I wasn't overly convinced by Mr Armstrong in his interview last night.

"If we get to Monaco and if Alberto is strong and if there are riders stronger than me then I will be a domestique"
