The original post on this subject was originally back in September (click here). So much wedding planning and other stuff has happened that I didnt get round to posting an update on the site as to where we are and what is happening.

  • We are off via Portsmouth and then driving through France to get to Calella de Palfrugell.
  • A couple of days riding follow, taking in the climb of Els Angels near Girona from both directions and then following the route of the Tour dr France stage to Barcelona from last summer.
  • Realxing evenings and a couple of beers make up the rest of the itineray before a long drive back to catch the ferry.

Unusal stag plans? maybe yes, although I am having a meal in our local village this weekend for non cycling chums to attend.

The weather is about 15-16 degrees at sea level so I think it might be shorts and armwarmers conditions which after the last few weeks in the UK would be a welcome surprise.

I am hoping to get some video of the climbs and photos and will keep you posted via the blog.

Can't wait to get cracking now

My idea of a stag do, just need to find some friends who like cycling the way I do!
