the scores for stage 2 were amended. so it's possible the update left you out of the top ten
I have a question. Not important but I'm just curious. After stage 2 my standard team was lying 7th overall in the purist Giro Comp (as I had made no transfers) so I got a number 2 against my high roller badge (as it was my second top 10). Today My number 2 against the badge has gone. Is this because of the update in scores because of riders being allocated the wrong points meaning I dropped out of the top 10 or because I made transfers for stage 3 so was no longer in purist comp with that team so didn't qualify any longer for high roller in purist comp. Or both? Does this make sense? Just curious how the system works. No big deal either way
updating but might require another update, depending on the sprint and mountains... official site results only listing one of each but the stage profile shows two.
respect
just sorting the scores
aha, thanks Nick!
I just love your reviews, guys. I'm totally fed up with reviews from sites like BR (or rather: both BR's if you know what I mean
) who are seemingly afraid of criticizing even obviously bad products because they want to stay in good relationship with manufacturers.
Keep it up!
It was an update for stage 2, Cattaneo and Viviani got the wrong points
Enough of the wet dream material for tweed clad fixie riders with handlebar 'taches!
Some nice bits, the scratched DA seat post (ouch) but also someone has been a bit slap happy with the ugly stick.
anyone know when the game will be updated? I thought it had been updated earlier but scores for stage 3 don't seem to be there?
Not knocking Mike's choices and each to their own an' all that but given the intended use of the bike track handlebars with a massive drop wouldn't be my first choice for a long ride. Would be nice to hear a bit more about his choices given it's a full custom.
A possible cause is myofascial trigger points (knots) in the calf muscles. A good sports physiotherapist would be able to tell you and provide treatment.
Aye, but were talking about a clutch of our MSP's plus government officials. Somehow I can't see them jumping across on an Easyjet flight. It will be business class and a fancy hotel. The current government wants to see something like 10% of commutes to be made by bicycle yet only allocates a measly 1% towards making this happen. There seems to be an attitude of "if they come we will build it" rather than "if you build it they will come". Despite the SNP's pontificating there appears to be no substance. I may be cynical but I fully expect this group to return and say that these roundabouts are not viable for Scotland. Hopefully I will be wrong.
£180 - that's a very good price, better than several big online retailers.
And a LBS that dissuades customers from buying popular factory wheels... must be a sound team!
I will follow a cortège at a respectful distance. If there is one approaching or turning out of a side street I stop and remove my cap if safe to do so. I have, on a couple of occasions received a subtle nod of appreciation from the driver of the hearse. I think now days very few people know what to do when a cortège passes by though.
Well i've done a Puccio today and been spat out the back of the pack!
lots of red arrows for me....
bookends would be a great award. might add that for the TdF
Youth
1 Aru (AST)
2 Majka (SAX)
3 Betancur (AG2R)
4 Kelderman (BLA)
5 Rosa (AND)
Bookends for me then. Is there an award?
Lanterne Rouge Tiralongo (AST)
You mad bugger Dave. Have you never learnt to drive?
Points classification
1 Paolini (KAT)
2 Cavendish (OPQ)
3 Evans (BMC)
4 Viviani (CAN)
5 Hesjedal (GAR)
Only Paolini for me from the top 10, not as great as I'd hoped, was tempted to load up on GC guys but held back, bugger.
Brilliant. Well done indeed. I suffered like a dog on a 200 last year....400 is just immense
