Righto everyone, I think ive got all the teams, and got them correct.

I have a score update after 6 stages

    Tom Amos 273*
    Joelsim 191
    Stumps 152
    Ghedebrav 150
    Chrisdstripes 146
    Stevemarks 144
    JAndrewhill 131
    TERatcliffe26 127
    Nata1ia 113
    Livestrongnick 108
    NeilG83 88

*Just one slight problem Tom Amos's team was over budget, noticed this as he had the exact team that I wanted but was about .6 off being able to afford it.

Although t just some fun at the end of the day

The best team you could have picked I so far believe would have been Craddock, Phinney and Chris Jones (scoring slightly more the Tom's team)

The dog was an aggressive cross breed kept in a back yard that got out. It was not a stray. It is well reported. If the owner did not have time to civilise the dog by taking it out in public they shouldn't have it, or have those breeds. Simple as that, it is the owners fault.

    It's your argument that's totally irrelevant, bikeboy76.

You don't civilise a dog, you train a dog. I mean we're not asking the dog to drink tea. I don't know where you've got all the rest of the information from, about this particular dog.

Bikeboy76 you're obviously a cyclist but none the wiser.

I use Arione Carbon twinplex saddle made by Fizik.

I stress I can't use any of the other Fizik saddles the Arione is the only one that suites me, but it has to be a Twinflex version not the normal version of the Arione.

I like your positivity. Either way we are gonna score similar, 7 the same, you have Majka and I have Pozz.

Seeing teams above though, looks like a Quintana win would be best for us, as they seem to have sacrificed taking in him for better mid priced riders such as Arredondo.

Great photo of Hedy here are a few quotes from her

"If you use your imagination, you can look at any actress and see her nude. I hope to make you use your imagination."

"I must quit marrying men who feel inferior to me. Somewhere there must be a man who could be my husband and not feel inferior. I need a superior inferior man."

"The world isn't getting any easier. With all these new inventions I believe that people are hurried more and pushed more... The hurried way is not the right way; you need time for everything - time to work, time to play, time to rest."

"Perhaps my problem in marriage - and it is the problem of many women - was to want both intimacy and independence. It is a difficult line to walk, yet both needs are important to a marriage."

"Hope and curiosity about the future seemed better than guarantees. That's the way I was. The unknown was always so attractive to me... and still is."

With regards to these wireless gears they are just the natural progression to automatic gears in the future. I foresee a time where the gear changes to your bodies power output, lactate levels and pain threshold etc. Thinking Wave

  • What's Britain's most stolen bike? The answer will surprise you1 year 7 weeks agoAny employer who has five or

Any employer who has five or more employees who cycle to work must provide a secure cycle parking facility. The number of cycling spaces provided to be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that provision matches demand.

"On the basis that the best (i.e. most pleasant) public toilets to use are those that have an attendant, how about extending this idea to cycling. Here is how it would work. The facility would be open from 0700 - 2000. For a small fixed fee (say £1 or £2 for half a day, £5 for a full day) an attendant would take your steed and in return would give you a token. When you return you would surrender the token and get your steed back. Similar schemes do exist elsewhere in the world, some of them are free!*

How about using some of those closed up shops on the high street. You know the ones put out of business by parking restrictions, out of town development and the big supermarkets. If the store is large enough and maybe has a back yard they could offer additional services such as a simple clean & lube.

Two really great ideas...
Particularly like the 'service' aspect...
Perhaps some of the bigger bike stores could sponsor storage units?

  • Fix motoring tax system to get people out of cars & on to bikes, says think tank1 year 7 weeks agoHills are not an

Hills are not an insurmountable barrier to cycling. I live on one, and it's really not such a big deal. Fit, healthy people who don't have much to carry ride ordinary bikes, and ocassionally push them uphill like zimmer frames. People with child trailers to pull uphill and people with health issues or disabilities are increasingly using e-bikes. I spotted a four-wheel e-bike with a crutch on the back the last time I walked to town - the rider flew down a hill and was doing maybe 35 km/h on her heavy bike as she passed me. The neighbourhood is still a bit more car-bound than flatter parts of town, and the bus service is well-used, but bikes - all sorts of bikes, ridden by all sorts of people - are increasingly part of the mix.

Hill won't stop people from cycling if the environment is otherwise cycling-friendly. But they do need to be taken into account properly by cycle infrastructure designers, and this doesn't happen often enough. In places where an eight-year old or an eighty year-old on an ordinary bike can reach very high speeds while just freewheeling downhill, narrow, bumpy cycle tracks can be downright lethal, especially when they are shared-use or have tight corners or poor sightlines. Unforgiving designs that would merely result in scraped knees on the flat can lead to broken bones or even fatalities when implemented on hills.

But that's a civil engineering problem, not a problem with cycling in hilly areas as such.
