A jewel. Every bike designer should put this amount of effort into his work. An absolute classic for years to come.
(checks piggy bank)
(looks glum)
Cheers Fred22 - think i paid £69 for mine! but hardly used...
Reduced price £35
Apparently some materials were supposed to be delivered by the waterways to the Olympic site. Sadly most of it came via the roads.
Canals and railways need constant maintenance to keep them safe - roads, apparently, do not.
I believe the last lot tried this but failed, it just doesn't make any sense.
How many miles of canals do we have in addition to railways, no need for these monsters on our roads.
Tony_Farrelly has made the only point worth considering , "pennywise, pound foolish" approach to safety by the Authorities !
How many of those Severely injured in the "turnoff period" are residing in the Oxford area hospitals and even worse drawing down resources that the budget can ill afford to meet ? Some of these people may be Paralympians of the future but the others will cause their families constant anguish and having to share a changed "lifestyle " .
Corporate Manslaughter charges should be levied against the individuals involved in making this pathetic error that has caused several families grief and the public purse additional expense !
Councillers of the Oxfordshire County Council deserve to be vilified and stand in the dock at the Crown Court since the court of public opinion does not condemn their actions or cause them sleepless nights . Tried and convicted by public opinion is not the same as Weekend detention or a Custodial Sentence !
Acting as separate org.s will only work IF they have separate hearings !
Now that both have announced , CAN WE HAVE an EARLY HEARING in the interests of the other racers ?
Not looking forward to seeing a result in the Giro OR the TDF which is perhaps overturned IF Contador is suspended !
Each racer dreams of Victory on the Grand Tours and part of that dream is standing on the podium . Too many recent victories have been "By the way , we decided to move you up one step on the podium"!
Caisse racers missed out in Paris because of Flandhole and ASO would like to have given Riis shortshift but could not stomach passing the title to Virenque .
Who pays the Lawyers anyway ? The racers pay to UCI and so they are entitled to be treated fairly and "Justice delayed is Justice denied !"
Past several years i have not turned up in Paris simply because there is no point seeing a "Victory ceremony that is about to be a FARCE !"
OH by the way , should the discision be Suspension then 4 years please not a "slap on the wrist "waffle !!
£110...I know what the wife ISN'T getting this Mother's day
I've got a clever idea to increase capacity and cut emissions/costs. What if you got a load of lorries and stuck them together, end to end and then you put a very big engine on the front of it. You could make special rails for them to run on at high speed very safely. It'd be like a train of lorries running on rails - I'd call it a Railway Train.
Why's no-one thought of this before?!
Got one of these on my commuter, works great paired with a good light like a Cyo or Edelux.
I posted a review on my Blog, link below.
not being funny, but they're £39 *new* at cyclestore.co.uk/productDetails.asp?productID=26309&categoryID=1038
You're selling a used one so regardless of condition i'd say you lose at least 10% of value so maybe 35 is more realistic
Surely this post has gone up too early, April 1st is still a few days away.
For this kind of cash I'll be looking at high end titanium
are they also torsionally accomodating while being diagonally indecisive?
Whilst the cyclist in this case clearly needs arresting, I don't think it's really a set back for the cycling community or increases any risk to me as I ride to work, a bit of perspective is required.
Please ignore the above, the Pineau thread and the bit saying 'participating' answer my question.
when i say 'after the tour of flanders', what i mean is 'right now'
yeah +1 for green oil, that's good stuff too.
Green Oil. I've found it to be very good, with unmatched environmental credentials.
Review: http://road.cc/content/review/12256-green-oil-chain-lube
I have a bottle of their white chain wax waiting to be applied.
Thanks.you make it clear.I didnt understood the breakaway must "begin" before halfway distance .However nothing changes for me.
Dilemma for the daily mail there- cyclist versus yob?
It's of no use to me, but it's great to see that these sorts of things exist and I think Leonie is doing a grand job of reviewing so many of them.
My current favourite is Rock N Roll Extreme. You put on excess, the solvent mobilises the old lube and dirt, you wipe off all you can with an absorbent cloth (I use kitchen paper), and the solvent evaporates from what is left to leave the lubricating wax behind inside the rollers.
Wow, yet another laterally stiff yet vertically complaint product. A rigid wheel which absorbs shocks - these engineers are amazing.
