Barring a major mental breakdown by Premium Player presenrumu08, or a completely unpredictable outcome in tomorrow's stage, his team, Atle Kvasvoll, should win the competition.

His nearest competition, tony kappler, with team Mountain Renegade is a good 29 points behind. There's no way anyone can pull it off. Or is there? His other closest rival is Premium Player karlake2 with his team karlake2, a good 53 points behind. Who saved more transfers? Well, it probably won't matter. I can't imagine but that presenrumu08 will be the proud and well earned owner of a new Bianchi Via Nerone. Outstanding play! Smile (Now I can only hope for a complete surprise!)

29 points can easily be found with a gamble or two and the gamble paying off , in the ITT I gained 73 points on the people above me .

I'd be thrilled if that happened... But how many surprisies can a sprint finish have in it? I can't think of many, but I'd ceratinly love to see one! And how many risks will someone in the Top 25 be willing to take and lose their position so late in the game? I guess that's the dilemma at the end of a Grand Tour... Do I go for the gamble or do I play conservatively to not lose position?... I'm happy you got that boost on the ITT but I think ITT's are a little harder to predict than sprints... But I'd love a surprise today! Smile

A true follower of cycle racing wouldn't become bored with any race; let-alone a stage in the Giro.

Wish I could have watched it.

I think the 22c average temperature here might have helped make my mind up.

But having taken out most of the climbs over the last few days that could have decided the Giro, it was just plain boring.

Nibali has done well to win the race with his performance, but he's been handed a free pass in the last week, where no-one could challenge him with all the re-routes and cancelled stage

Got screwed by the stage changes over the weekend as I was loaded with riders chasing KoM points (Pirazzi, Rodriguez and Chalapud) but the cancellation of 19 and the gutting of the main climbs from 20 made this tactic entirely useless.

Very obvious transfers and kept in the best combination of guaranteed points I could. Wanted to ditch Rodriguez and Chalapud but didn't think it'd be worth the penalty transfers. Today's sprint could be chaos but Cav should pull through and wrap up the red jersey.
